Going strong after 12 years, the original Simple Coin Flip has been revamped using modern Android development techniques. It remains ad-free, does not request any risky permissions, and now features all 50 USA state quarters.

To use, simply tap the question mark or shake your device to reveal the result. You can spin the coin again by tapping or shaking it. Assess the randomness of the flip algorithm by conducting the in-built Diagnostic Test, flipping the coin over 100,000 times or more, observing the results in real-time. No room for gaming the system!

What's New?

In this latest edition, mostly everything remains intact save for a complete rewrite using Modern Android Development (MAD) standards featuring Kotlin, coroutines, MVVM, and Material 3 with dynamic colors. The existing code signing key has managed to stand the test of time for this app.

Regrettably, watch support for Android Wear has been dropped as the developer has shifted focus. For watch functionality, the recommendation is to invest in a G-Shock timepiece for a more tailored experience.

Lastly, Google has addressed privacy concerns by discontinuing official API support for loading resources from any installed app on your device; thus, there will be no further assistance for "add-on packs."
